The students of ÌÇ91¶¶Òõ voted for the construction of a new Student Union Center in April of 1990. The Margaret Lesher Student Union building serves as a laboratory of citizenship, training future leaders in social responsibility and leadership in democratic aspects of society.
The idea became a reality on January 21, 1998 when the building was opened. Now 91¶¶Òõ students can utilize the facilities and the services provided at the Student Union.
Not Just Student Government
While the Student Union houses our student government, it is also a place to socialize, study, and get help. The Student Union houses:
- Food pantry
- Inclusivity and Wellness Center
- A computer lab
- Study rooms and conference room
- Open areas to meet and socialize
